Our terrace, overlooking gentle flow of the Takano River,
invites you to slow down

MENU FEATURES

At DLF, our bouillon is patiently simmered for two days.
We prepare three distinct types:
vegetable, seafood, and meat.
This deep, refined bouillon
gently transforms our pasta and pilaf
into something really special,
bringing out the pure character of each ingredient.
It pairs seamlessly with wine,
enhancing the experience as a whole.
Carefully Selected Seasonings
Rooted in the traditions of French cuisine,
our cooking also embraces
the wisdom of Japanese fermentation,
we incorporate organic miso and organic soy sauce.
Along with mineral-rich natural salt,
and carefully selected soy sauce and vinegar known
for their deep umami.
Every combination of seasonings is
thoughtfully designed to pair gracefully with wine,
adding depth and refined complexity in every dish.

ACCESS
Located 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk from Demachiyanagi Station on the Keihan Line.
You can also access the café
from the south side of Shimogamo Hospital,
via Izumikawa Street
or along the Takano River.
